A full-size firm with a human side

Today, our firm comprises 10 partners and a team of more than 60 experienced and multidisciplinary professionals. The size of our company fosters highly personalized collaboration with organizations of all sizes – public, private, or non-profit.

History

A productive intersection of talents

Petrie Raymond is the result of the merger of four accounting firms that brought their strengths and expertise together to better serve their clients.

The founding partners were intent on establishing strict standards of excellence. Those who joined them over time shared their values and their desire to offer the highest-quality services, focusing on skills, professionalism, and integrity.

1920
Archibald J. M. Petrie and J. Thélesphore Raymond create a small accounting firm that they call Petrie Raymond. The same year, Joseph Arthur Archambault also opens an accounting office; he is later joined by other partners to form Archambault, Marchand, Boivin, Arbour, Lafleur et Associés.

Accountant René Proulx opens an office. Guy d’Orsonnens joins him in 1959 to form Proulx d’Orsonnens.

The firm Lachance, Brosseau, Allard et Associés is founded; a few years later, it became Lachance Allard et Associés.

Proulx d’Orsonnens and Petrie Raymond merge.
1969
1980
Petrie Raymond merges with Archambault, Marchand, Boivin, Arbour, Lafleur et Associés and with Lachance, Allard et Associés.

Petrie Raymond celebrates its 75th anniversary.
